Hello Everyone - I am glad that you are in my class! We will be listening to a lot of lectures and learning how to take notes as well as discuss topics regarding the lecture. Homework for Monday, Aug 15th!

Tonight -  If you haven't done so already, please go to your own blog and make your blog so that anyone can comment  on your blog.  This is the way you do it:
  1. Click to Settings.
  2. Click on Comments
  3. Click on 'Who can comment'
  4. Click on Anyone!
  5. Scroll down and Save Settings

Part 2 of last Weeks Listening for Monday  - Listen to one of your classmate's choices and make an extensive comment.  Please follow the directions below: 
  • Quickly look at as many of your classmate's blogs so that you can see what they have listened to already.  Decide which one that you want to listen to.
  • Choose one and listen to it. 
  • Make notes while you listen.
  • Read your classmates summary and personal response. 
  • In the comment space, make your own comment.  In your comment, think about how the video impresses you and how it might affect society, or any other idea that shows thought about the topic. 
  • Please record the name of the person and the other info that is asked for on the comment slip.
  • Bring your slip to class on Monday and be ready to tell us who you chose, what the topic is, and why you chose that topic.
  • Hand your slip in to Gail.
Schecule next week:
  • Monday -  Blog Comment Homework done  -  Test on last chapter in the textbook.  Marriage is the topic.  Be sure to preview the vocabulary before class on Monday.
  • Tuesday -  Final Listening Proficiency Test!
